How much does ContractNest cost?
€47.88 per year per company/workspace, equivalent to €3.99/month. It is billed annually and paid upfront. VAT is added where it applies; the order form shows the total for your country.
Is it a subscription? Will I be charged automatically?
No. There is no subscription, no stored card and no automatic renewal. Each year you place a renewal order and pay it. We remind you 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before the license expires.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, using your order number as the payment reference. A one-time card payment link may also be offered. The license is issued once we have confirmed the payment on our account.
How many people can use one license?
Unlimited authorised users within your company/workspace. Activation on up to 25 computers is included as fair use; contact us if you need more.
When does my license year start?
When you first activate it. Please activate within 90 days of receiving the license; after that date the year starts automatically.
What happens if I renew early?
The new year is added to your current expiry date, so you never lose paid days.
What happens if my license expires?
ContractNest switches to read-only. All contracts and documents stay available, you can download attachments and export everything. Nothing is deleted. Renewing unlocks editing again without reinstalling.
Where is my data stored?
On your computer, in a local database and an encrypted attachment folder. ContractNest does not upload your contracts or documents. Only licensing information (activation key, workspace ID, device ID, app version) is sent to our licensing server.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everyday use is fully offline. Internet is needed for online activation, the daily license check, updates and ordering. Computers that are always offline can be activated with a license file.
Can my team share one database?
Not in this version. Each computer keeps its own workspace data; one license covers all of your company's computers. Shared cloud workspaces are planned.
Can I get a refund?
Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal as described in the Terms. Contact us within that period. A refunded license is deactivated.
Do you send reminder emails?
Reminders are shown as desktop notifications while ContractNest is running (it stays in the system tray). We send emails only about your order and license.
